The primary goal of this group is to become informed on the needs of the school and try to supply some of those needs through annual fund raising projects, coordination of volunteer efforts, and implementation of goals set by the administration and the school leadership committee. The purpose shall be to serve as a support group to achieve the goals and objectives established by the governing body of the school, to keep parents informed of school activities, and to provide a liaison between parents and administration. Information Sheets  Download the Bless For Success Form  Download the Bless For Success Letter If you would like to know more about the organization and role of the PTF; click below to read the relevant section from the Hillcrest Christian Academy Leadership Committee's Policy Manual: 1300 AUXILIARY ORGANIZATIONS - PARENT TEACHER FELLOWSHIP (PTF) 1301 Auxiliary Organizations Authority for such organizations, including the PTF, shall be as an auxiliary group with independent operation, except that any such group derives its authority from the Leadership Committee. 1301.1 Said organization is ultimately subject to the Leadership Committee. 1301.2 Said organization shall obtain approval for functions and activities. 1302 Purposes of PTF 1302.1 To promote and perpetuate interest in and support for the Leadership Committee. 1302.2 To promote and perpetuate interest in and support for Christian education generally. 1302.3 To foster and promote good relationships and communication between parents and faculty. 1302.4 To promote and coordinate volunteer workers for Hillcrest Christian Academy. 1302.5 To assist the Leadership Committee in selecting and operating fundraisers. 1303 Operations of PTF 1303.1 Present to the Leadership Committee meeting detailed income/expenses statement and balance sheet. 1303.2 Prepare and present budget for approval by the Leadership Committee. 1303.3 Obtain approval for non-budgetary expenditures. 1303.4 Present and obtain approval for fundraisers operated independently by and for PTF purposes.
