We are a group of Parents who meet together for an hour every other week to intercede for our children and their school. Let me share with you a few of the biblical reasons for Parents to come together to pray in one accord: God promises that He will be present with you. (Matthew 18:20) Burdens shared become lighter. (James 5:16) When there is agreement in what is asked, no room is left for doubt or wavering. (Matthew 18:19) Being in unity and in one accord will produce an army strong like a cord; an army that cannot be broken, nor divided in its determination to beat the devil. That same unity will produce a wall that stops the work of the devil. (Ecclesiastes 4:9-12) We are literally taking God at His Word and praying scripturally for our children using the Bible - God's actual words - as the foundation for our prayers, trusting and waiting in great anticipation for God to do for us what His Word says he will do in ISAIAH 55:11. Not only do we pray for our children, but we have the blessed opportunity to pray God's Word for our teachers and administrators and Hillcrest Christian Academy. We meet twice a month, on the second Tuesday and fourth Wednesday of every month. Call the Hillcrest office for our meeting location.
